Terms of service

The service

Omnicart provides point-of-sale software for your computers ("Omnicart RetailPOS") and an online back office ("RetailPOS Cloud"), licensed per business under the plan you choose. These terms apply when you start a trial, buy a license or use either product.

Your license

• A license is for one business, up to the branches and tills your plan allows.
• Keep your license key private. Anyone with it can connect tills to your business.
• Free trials last for the days shown on the plan. One trial per business.

Paying and renewing

• Prices are in naira and shown before you pay. Payments go through Paystack or Flutterwave.
• A monthly or yearly license runs until the date shown, and renewing early adds to that date. A lifetime license does not expire.
• If a license expires, tills keep selling for the grace period on your plan. After that, new sales stop until you renew; reports, closing shifts and exporting your data keep working.

Your data

Your sales, stock, customers and staff records belong to you. You can export them at any time. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Fair use

Don't use Omnicart for anything unlawful, try to get into other businesses' data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend a license that does.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Omnicart reliable and your data safe, and tills are built to keep working without internet. Keep your computers, printers and internet in good order, and check your figures. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability is limited to what you paid for the license in the past twelve months.

We may update these terms and will show the new date here. Nigerian law applies.
